Triton MFT

Aside from all the orange plastic bits, I will say it doesn't look too bad. Not sure how that dual rail setup works but seems overkill unless it incorporates angles and such.

Worth checking out...prices don't seem horrible either.

Cheers. Bryan.

Great. Festool needs the competition. Does anyone know if the extrusions would accept the mft rail brackets? This would be a much better option for me for site work than the cms, since I already have the Triton router.

The fence on the TS insert looks suspect, though.

EDIT: Just saw that that MFT style MDF insert is basically just for clamping, as it slips into a (phenolic?) edging on the outside of the table.  They do make a project saw insert, though, which seems to mimic the cross-cutting function of the MFT.  But that insert doesn't seem to be available at the moment through Rockler.

And a sixty eight page manual just for the table
8 pages of just pictures. Beats any Festool issued instruction manual I have!

I applaud the concept, but to keep the price down there is a lot of plastic and that fence is horrible!  Same issue I have with my CMS fence.

Cheers. Bryan.
