This is my first post to this forum, so I apologize if i'm not posting in the correct area. I am not a Festool owner however i am a frequent drooler over the results (glue ready cuts) the TS owners talk about. I have a specific use in mind for the saw, but i was wondering about the guide rail use with the parrallel edge guide.part # 491 469 My cut is going to be about a 30 degree bevel with the rail, but i need the saw to index off of an existing quarter inch dado to the right of the bevel cut. Is it possible to attatch a piece of quarter inch stock to the parrallel edge guide and let it hang down below the p.E.G. And let the saw and rail index off of an existing dado? I need to do this single pass cut to about 100 different pieces that already have the dado. I'm sorry for the hard to get picture of what i'm trying to do, think about it this way: 2 inch thick hardwood 8 inches wide 50 inches long with a 1/4" dado parrallel to my intended cut line. TS 55 with rail tilts to the right for the cut with the guiderail on the left with spacer blocks under the rail to keep it level. The parrallel edge guide outrigger with the indexing piece attatched on the right side of the saw. Run the saw down the guiderail indexing off of the dado making a 30 degree bevel parrallel to the dado!!!! Does this sound like something doable? I'm thinking Festool is the answer but wanted some feedback before i throw down some cash. I was thinking TS 75 and the big vacuum??? Thanks for all of your help. Sorry for the long post--pooltableguy
