TS55 Guide Jaws

I just got a new TS55 EQ. I was trying to setup the TS55 on the guide rail and was going to adjust the guide clearance using the two guides but the guide will not turn in either direction with the saw in the rail or off the rail. Has any one had this problem or what am I doing wrong?

This seems to be a strange thing to happen, my suggestion is contact festool service (  800-554-8741 )  and they can guide you thru what might be happening to the guides

As recommended, give the service department a call. But, it may just be that they are a little tight out of the box. Counter-clockwise to loosen, clockwise to tighten.

Give'em a hit of tri-flow.  But yes, definitely call service.
