Do a soft reboot on the iOS device. You can google it for instructions on how to do it... I'm guessing your iPad has 16gb of ram. Everytimebyounopenanapp it stays in memory. Like the previous garbeled word. Things get wanky.
In a nutshell -
Home screen
Double press home button
Swipe all the apps upward to quit them. I'm guessing there are many.
After they are all gone then Hit the home button.
Then simultaneously hold the home button and power button ON.
Continue pressing the screen goes black during the reboot and wait until the apple logo appears.
Release the buttons and let the iPad restart.
Double click the home button again and check to see all the apps are no longer open. If they are you will have to do them in sets, by swiping like the above example and reboot each time. Sometimes you need to do different sets and just a few at a time. It's very frustrating and can take upwards of 30 minutes..,
But 9 out of ten times this fixes it.
Cautionary note: your not deleting the apps from your iPad, just force quitting them. That's why I mentioned to google it and look on YouTube or apples website. I don't want to be held responsible if you do something wrong.
