On that page, if you input a duration for the poll, eg 2 days, that button will become active. The reason that it's currently inactive is because the duration is blank by default, indicating a limitless duration.

Go for it! It seems the fairest way to me.    However I'm not sure whether a 2 day poll would run for 48 hours from the time it was created, or would run from midnight to midnight, or would use come other method of calculation.

Sorry for being so blunt above.  One of the things that makes this forum so great is the one that aggravates me most... The thinking, re-thinking, and the second guessing the re-thinking.  ( I am ALWAYS short on the thinking part, so I do appreciate the thoughtfullness put into these discussions)  This and above rant over.

so in the event that I get to the airport,

my check in bag and carry on would have the following sample pieces.......

(as not to depend upon what BridgeCity has available.......)

the solid stock.......
Alder, Mahogany, Walnut, White oak, Wenge, Zebrawood, Rock Maple, Koa/Acacia,

Padack, Purpleheart, Teak , some Ebony and I could take a piece of Marblewood I have at the studio.

1 1/2"  Laminated bent White Oak and Koa / Accacia elements where the laminations are 1/16 " thick

box of veneers

color europly .....I have 19 mm and 40 mm at hand

homosote, bending poplar, wiggleboard ...........mdo, mdf assorted thicknesses

various thicknesses of cardboard, and colored card stock.

thin layers of laminated fiberglass panels I have.

I'm open for other suggestions,

hmmm, better keep an eye on that scale. ;D

Being new here I have no emotional link to any of the personalities.

I voted by reviewing the posted works of those still in the running.

Nicko-you would have been my first choice based on the "delicateness"  of your work.

Everyones work is amazing just went with Per's suggestion of who's work fit the tool best.

I still have not bought a Festool but came to realize I have the most important and valuable Festool there is-
this web site and all of your shared knowledge and inspiration.
