What about the other 7,000 plus out there?

Hi All,

I completed my new workbench about 3 or so weeks ago. Combination of the Jack-Bench/Paulk Bench designs. Not as glamorous as some of the classy projects posted earlier in this thread.

Can't seem to get the pics to load.... I chose the files under "Attach" but doesn't appear to make anything happen.

C'mon, be honest ... it was a bad day and you installed it upside down [wink]

Just finished these for a customer. Just need to deliver them so the customer can paint them. Once they are painted I will install the hooks and drawer pulls for them.

My humble contributions... A couple of pieces I built last year. The first was built as a buffet for my wife. The second was an entertainment center I built for a friend of mine after he saw the buffet I built for my wife.

This pair were finished before Christmas, for a client.  I'm going to start designing a range of a few items that can be batched out from 1" scraps by an apprentice.  These are very strong, despite appearances.

This was finished on Christmas Eve, for myself.  I've been making and painting it for about four months.  Wife was very pleased....at least for a little while.

Nice design on the chairs.  very artistic . Wish i was a artistic person. i just hack wood

Jobsworth- I'm a little embarrassed to admit it, but in an effort to save money, both pieces are 100% poplar. I treated it for blotching and used a gel stain. Prior to all that, I beat it up real good to distress it. The result has been a pretty nice old world look.

Pretty good stain job buddy. I got make a walnut shelf unit. I can save a lot of money doing it your way. Walnut cost out the nose here.

And here is a small block plane I built one weekend just for fun. It is walnut and curly maple. Fun and easy little project for left over materials.

those are awesome stools !  great job and thanks for sharing...

Thank you sir!  It was very easy. I really just grabbed some scrap wood made a couple of cuts, and glued it up. After it dried for a couple of hours I cut the profile on the band saw. Sanded it and put some wax on it. Knocked it out over a weekend.

This workbench is slight modification from Hank MFT bench.I bought magazines and usied with some Google translation but most pictures. Modified for my height.
Comments/questions welcome.
