What grit of Saphir comes with the RAS?

I recently bought the RAS and was trying to remove latex paint with it. It came with a sample pack of abrasives and I cannot tell what grit the saphir sheet is. I'm thinking it might be 50. I hope it is 50 because it is not very effective and the 24 and 36 might work. I need to take off about 5 layers of paint on cedar siding. I may be better off buying a Speedheater and using my RO150 and RO90. I also have some profiles to strip, so a LS 130 might be a benefit as long as I can scrape most of the paint off using the Speedheater. Any thoughts or suggestions?

Whats's it like ? Course beach sand ??

50 should make a dent in a few layers of paint. Use anything more aggressive on the RAS and it'll rip like a belt sander!

Mine came with a few sheets of rubin and 1 sheet of Saphir, but I can not tell what grit it is and it clogged up pretty fast. I am not worried about being too aggressive. I used an angle grinder and 24grit when I stripped the paint off my house after I scraped most of it off. It took 5 months and I discovered Festool when I was done  [mad]  If the 36 or 24 loads up as well I will probably return the RAS and buy the Speedheater.

I cut several mm of paint and wood from a door step with 36 grit on my RAS with very little clog (if any). I use the RAS a bit like an angle grinder, with the vac on full FWIW.
