Hey all,

I'm looking to pick up a handful of vendor lines/sku's for various sections of our store.

What would you want to see in your local store?

What are the top five things that are hard to get or only available online ?

Thanks Everyone.

From a distant view ...

I'd like to at least touch and order high end stuff ...

Chisels, saws, planes, scrapers, etc.

Squares, rulers, measures, etc.

The full spectrum of finishing tools.

Jigs, templates - plus samples of their outputs.

Cutters, bushes, guides, specialty blades.

Anyway - the hard things from my perspective is anything of quality that's typically low volume and high price.

(The stuff a retailer typically hates to stock)

My  [2cents]. FWIW

All the NAINA stuff. I know thats not real helpful but the heart wants what it wants.

5 meter folding rulers from Europe.

Are there others here that want the NAINA Festool folding rulers?  I can probably order some, or a bunch from my German dealer before I come back to the USA in June.

Cheers,

Frank

I'd appreciate an order for a 5m folding ruler

Frank. Thanks for the consideration.

I have a Paypal account as well.

Are they really 5m long, Frank?

I remember them being more like 2m.

I shop at Highland Woodworking in Atlanta, Ga. They carry a wide range of high end and medium priced items.

The type of things they don't carry are the Woodpeckers line of measuring tools and the Bridge City tools. My guess is that they would not make a profit on stocking these on-line items.

I could buy anything they sell on-line, but will buy locally for a couple of reasons. One, I get to handle the item before I buy. Two, I value the expertise and advice I get from the staff.

High quality furniture hardware like machines brass hinges, drawer pulls, quality drawer slides, etc.  Along with high quality hand tools and cutting bits.  We lost Japan Woodworker retail store in Alameda in the East Bay and now my local Dublin Woodcraft closed.
