Win £5,000 of Festool Tools

As far as the Sysrock is concerned I think "I started a joke" by the Bee Gees would be appropriate.

What's coming in 2016? A new Festool food processor and a cooking competition [eek]

Not even £5k's worth of festool will tempt me to make a public prat of myself for life on the internet.

I actually feel sorry for the poor desperate sods who will enter this  [eek] [eek]

It's not gone down very well if my Twitter timeline is anything to go by. I understand what Festool were hoping to achieve by linking the theme to the SYSROCK launch, but I think they've alienated a good deal of their "followers" in doing so.

Should be entertaining to see.  [popcorn] [popcorn] [popcorn] [popcorn] [popcorn]

.......and your right Peter I am sure it will have some entertainment, novelty value and fun - but someone will come out with a few Systainers of value to them for a small effort of belting out a tune......or even tuneless tune!!

.....or 'Don't stop me now' by Queen......and get the entries in  [wink]

2016 additions to the line up are being planned.........it will not included a Food Processor but I have been known to use the PDC to whisk up some eggs before now.

Hi
Remember this is just a bit of fun to start the year with  [smile] - no one is expecting Adele mk2  [wink]or Ed Sheeran  [eek] to suddenly appear and take over the world. Let those who want to enter do so and I am sure they will....4 weeks to enter the comp.

...maybe Mr Blue sky E.L.O

If festool stopped with the novelty collectible items and spent the time on their core products maybe they wouldn't have messed up the sys rock which is totally pony as is this competition.

I've just had an email from Festool where contest entrants can win £5,000 of Festool tools just for (probably) making a massive eejit of themselves singing along with AC/DC Back in Black, or some other songs.

Every song on Never Mind The Bollocks is a masterpiece, but my favourite is God Save The Queen.

Do I win a squeezy ball with Festool wrote on it for suggesting 12 better songs?

Or is this competition just a load of

Hi Woodwork wizard
The Pistols are classics on all the albums along with the Susie and the Banshies, Public Image Limited, Sham 69, Buzzcocks and of course The Stranglers.....one of my top bands.
However some may be doing this at a chance to very simply knock out a tune, load it up, and wait a short time to see if they get a result

Sometimes participating here is frustrating. Singing is my thing, I practice many hours a day. Often while I'm busy using my Festools. But I'm not a UK resident so I can't enter. These tools would have been mine as I would have totally bagged this contest. Bohemian Rhapsody is on the list and I've practiced it a million times already. Don't stop me now also, like another gazillion Queen songs. Sigh.

It is getting discouraging now after 7 years being one of the most participating members but always see other people grab the goodies and never get a shot at anything. I remember when I first joined in 2008 we had a contest every month and it didn't matter from which country you were. But since Festool took over that idea became a thing of the past, just like the FOG contests. Funny how a private person like this forum's founder Matthew Schenker made a lot more effort than a multinational can.

The contest is a very nice idea, and I can see how Festool would want to promote their new radio with a musical happening. Too bad the real Festooling musician is shut out by your rules.

Meh, at least I could download a backing track of Bohemian Rhapsody, never had that before. That's going to be fun to sing along.
