I wanted to put my CT26 under the MFT which left me with deciding what to do with the work center. This is probably the overkill solution but it works for me. It's not the most stable thing in the world but should be fine for my use.
[member=65062]DynaGlide[/member] does workcenter fit on top of the flex vce without systainers in between? I want to have my ct-cyclone between the top and bottom of the workcenter

My understanding of why the Sys-sort is in between the Flex and the Workcenter is to "convert" the Classic Systainer attachments into a T-Loc compatible attachment style (it's also a handy storage solution, obviously). Then the board is there to mount the Workcenter because the Workcenter doesn't mount directly to a normal T-Loc or Classic attachment.
The Workcenter base is shaped specifically to mate up with a CT-26, 36, or 48 but not to a Midi, Mini, Midi-I, Mini-I, nor CT-15. You also can't mount a Workcenter directly on a Classic Systainer (I learned this the hard way with the MIDI-I, so I ended up with a CT-26, and I just tried it on a Classic Systainer about 5 minutes ago to make sure I wasn't speaking out of turn).
If you didn't already know, the CT-VA-20 (cyclone) definitely fits in the Workcenter, but if I understand your concern, it's more about getting the right height for the hose to reach.
It’s both height of the hose and mounting it to flex vacuum
Thought of getting ct-26 did cross my mind but my flex vce has been awesome and I don’t need 26. Only thing I’m missing is the remote control for now
