10 year old project, virtually unused

Now that is has finally gotten above 25 degrees, I went for an outside walk. Some of the locals have mentioned that the city park trails have been cleared very well, so I gave it a chance. I went to one where I normally ride, basically scouting for tomorrow. In the back of that park is a small rental venue. Seems like an odd place for such a thing? Maybe birthday parties? (if the birthday is in the winter) Seems small and out-of-the-way for a wedding reception.
Anyway. Since I was walking, rather than riding, I stopped to take a few pics. I built these big display shelving units in the summer of 2016. The shelves are totally empty and have been all along. I saw a few pictures in a couple of them once. I was riding through when some caterers were setting up. I'm sure there were other times, it has been almost 10 years, but every time I have looked, epmty.
Since it's a rental, the doors are locked. Any kind of display would be safe. Why nothing?

This type of shelving and spacing of shelves is very peculiar. Based on the fact that there's no glass covers, whatever is intended to go there is available for anybody to handle. But, some shelves are so high that most people won't be able to reach the items there. So, not book, not pamphlets, not trophies, not tools... I'm stumped!

Alright Guybo - gotta ask - did you take this or photoshop it? Because while I thought it was cool to have put stuff on the shelves, changing the seasons is quite impressive.

What I want to know is why did they uninstall the power sockets on the walls under the shelves? ;-)
