All around residential construction courses online.

Hi there, I am seeking online courses where I can learn up to date and top of the line building science and residential construction building practices, techniques and skills.

I'm wondering if there is a recommended website online that is mainly video based teachings that somebody has personal experience with? I learn the best when it comes to videos (besides being there physically in person) and even though I will be taking my red seal construction certificate here in Canada, I was wondering if there was a great place to learn residential carpentry and building science online somewhere as well, besides youtube? I've learned so much from youtube but I'm looking for something that is a little more educationally driven and focused/to the point?

Hope to hear back soon and I figured this was the best place to find a list of educated people with quality information to offer when it comes to my pursuit in expanding my knowledge of construction.

I've been a Fine Woodworking addict since they cam out and still have all my issues, including the B & W originals.  I also subscribe to Fine Homebuilding and the Journal of Light Construction.  The Journal is more professional oriented of the three.

Dontknow about on line courses per se Gary Katz has a video series that is pretty good plus he has a great site with articles from guys in the field on building techniques
