Just to add to this, and Michael correct me if I am wrong, but Michael is a independent contractor that works with Festool Ireland to help facilitate repair shipments to the UK. And, when he says "ROI", he is saying "Republic of Ireland" customers only. In the US, ROI is often interpreted as "return on investment".

I had contacted my colleagues in the UK to ask for assistance on this issue and they contacted Michael to help out. Thanks for showing up on the forum, Michael.

I have noticed that they guys on the Facebook uk page have been a bit more vocal which is great hopefully gol gets it sorted now cheers guys
 
Update on the situation with the drill
I contacted repairs in the uk today with regards the drill ,a very helpful lady from festool uk told me that they had no delivery of this tool and that they hadn't received it .i checked my shipment email and I saw that it was dropped off last Monday to the festool repair centre .she contacted me back with in 3 hrs and told me to correspond the codes of the drill which we did . She had found the drill and was sending in to repairs tomorrow morning . I had explained that I am now without the tool 2.5 weeks and I had a vast collection of festool tools and never had any problems before .she told me that either Folkestone fixings or festool uk would dispatch a new drill to me tomorrow . This lady was very pleasant and helpful and was very customer focused .

@shane holland I would like To thank Shane on all of his help resolving this matter and for paying great attention to customers outside of his region , festool are very lucky and USA clients are lucky to have such a efficient guy .

No offence intended by me on my part or if you think I was misinformation on festool Ireland employees but I had contacted you on this matter and I didn't get a response that you posted above . I can understand that the tool was purchased in the uk but festool tools should still stand over there standard of service and the guys who make festool who they are .

My apologises if I'm insulting anyone or annoying any one with regards this issue . I just want this issue resolved and we can move on to positive feed back .
