I have also enjoyed your videos.  It is good that the precision of Festool has carried over to your new measuring device.  ;D

It appears as if you are using pre-finished ply and I question the usefulness of applying glue to surfaces that will mate with the finished surface.

Same here, Eric. Always wandering out to the shop, pacing around, moving things, cleaning things. Staring at things. Taking pictures of things. The day it is perfect, it will be boring.

The last video of this long series.  Part 21,  The Install. 

I took vacation time from my paying job to install the flooring in my moms house and to install the cabinets.  Just to return to work and was told that we need to work 12 and 16 hour days!

So it's been a long couple weeks. 

  It was a fun project.  Well worth it.  Especially to see the reaction of my mom and pops when I brought them home from the airport.  They went to Disney World for the week with my sister and nephews. 

Since I've been working so much at my paying job I haven't had time to get back to my moms house to install the tile back splash.  So when I get that done I take a couple pics and share them with you.

Nice job, as always. Take heart in knowing that I've NEVER had a job where everything went as planned. There is always a hiccup or two along the way that you're able to chalk up as a learning experience.  There are so many considerations when building and installing a kitchen that if that was your first go at it I'd say you're well ahead of the game.

I would just like to say thank you for your videos, I have bought the LR32 system because of them and I am half way through making some wall cabinets for my tools. Can I just say that without your videos I think I would of sent the system back as the instructions that come with it are dreadful and I wouldn't of known where to start! I think if Festool got you to do a video DVD that was put into the systainer with the tool they would have a great instruction manual - and I am sure you wouldn't mind taking payment in tools [big grin]

Well….looks like I can check this task off my bucket list.  [big grin]  [big grin]

Honestly,  never been on Instagram….heard of it…but don't know much about it.      I posted that pick on the Festool Facebook page so Mr. Holland must have shared the photo on Instagram.

That's Calvin in the photo.  He's one of 3 of my rescue dogs.  All 3 of my dogs are rescues.  He was found  in someones back yard locked to a chain with his collar too tight around his neck. 

Calvin was going to be used as a "bait dog".  Meaning he would have been used in a training session with the "prize dog".  He would have been killed by the "prized dog" in the training session.

He was malnourished, that way the "prize dog" wouldn't have much of a fight.    Calvin started out as a foster dog with us.  The wife and I brought him into our house so we could bring him back to health

and hope to find him a forever home.  After having Calvin in our home with our other dogs and watching him grow and  recover we couldn't and didn't want to let him go.  At first I didn't want to bring him

into our  house, I was happy with having just 2 dogs…..and wouldn't you know it…the little guy has become my favorite  little buddy and is always in the shop with me.  Funny how things work out.

Good for you to rescue your dogs. Pits often get a really bad rap, but I'm much quicker to blame the owners rather than the dogs.

it's easy to see why bespoke kitchen systems cost so much, something i had pondered about previously and not actually realised how much is really involved.

It looks like you made use of the following tools for carcasses:
- TS55
- long guide rail
- MFT
- LR32
- 1010 router
- domino
- kreg pocket hole jig
- clamps
- squares

For someone who is contemplating doing this but just ordering the doors (and likely doing a frameless design) I am trying to convince myself that I should buy some Festool stuff Have I gotten the major items in the list? I have a bunch of woodworking items already, but sold my large machinery when moving houses.
