Help!

I've got 20 year old cabinet doors that have popped a plastic bit when hyperextended. I have bought replacement hinges once before, but they don't fully cover the space. See pics attached. There's obviously a mechanism to give you a bit of adjustment room, but its fully extended. Any more, and the screw doesn't have enough ass to grab onto.

Also attaching the invoice from the replacements. This most recent attempt was the second time to try to find the proper replacement, to no avial.

Any chance anyone can help me find the right replacements?

Those look like Blum Compact 33 hinges...you can find the new version with soft close and "hyperextension prevention".... all with the same hole pattern

Most importantly...you need to know the overlay.....i.e., how much door is overlapping frame

From Blums catalog.

I see 1/4” on the base plate of the original.

Should be pretty easy to get replacements since they are Blum. To avoid trial and error I would get the hinge model number off the original hinge and call Blum. I have called them a couple times for info and such. They were very knowledgeable and helpful.

One other thing, Blum has a lifetime warranty. Go to their website, fill out the form, mail them what you need replaced, they’ll send you what you need. If they don’t want the originals back send the picture and they’ll work it out for you.

Wow. The power of the internet.

Learned alot based on your recommendations. Called Blum, they're shipping me three hinges at no cost.

Thanks a million, guys and gals.

You're getting free hinges?  And mine are on backorder?  Good for you.  Not so good for me.
