Just ordered a c 12 cordless drill from my festool rep today.  I know this is an older model but it was reduced to 250.00 GB pounds + vat.
It comes in the new systainer & with all the chucks.

Is this a good buy & is the drill any good ?  I wont get it for a week yet, so still time to cancel the order if need be.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Woodguy.

I have a C12. Great drill if you are doing small, precision work. Kitchens, baths, installing hardware, furniture, etc. If you need a small great drill that can get into tight places and provide refined feel and results. The C12 is it. If you are doing more hardcore construction work and need a driller or drywall screwer, buy something else. I use it once in a while for brute work and always wish I had my 18V Ryobi.

I have used one for a couple of years now, and love it.  It is really amazing how much power it has, for a fairly compact drill.

I have several other drills lying around, and I seem to reach around them to get to the C12.

That's a great line, the guys on my job feel the same way my T15+3 drills. More than once I've found myself using the old DeWalts because someone is using my Festool drills.

Back on topic, I've not had much experience with the C12 but I know a number of people that really love them.

I think for ?100.00 off the price, it is a good deal & by the sound of things i wont go wrong with any festool drill.  One of my makitas just packed in, so this will replace it until i get the t 15+3.
