How do you like that setup? I like the idea of the boom arm, but it doesnt work for where I store/mostly use my vac from. what about the handle by itself?

I bought the handle a couple weeks after I bought my 22.

I have had it for almost 2 years and use the handle all the time.

Easy to push around.  Don't pick up the ct by the handle, not a good idea.

I do not have the boom arm and not sure if I ever will.

I purchased the handle along with my first CT.  I liked having the handle on the CT when in the shop.  Only drawback for me was when I wanted to transport the CT in my pickup -- the truck has a roll-top cover and the handle makes the CT too tall to close and lock.

After having the CT (with handle) for a little over a year, I purchased the Boom Arm.  WOW, what a difference!

I bought the handle with my CT. My CT is my mobile unit. My Fein TII is now my shop Vac. I guess you could push the CT around by pushing on the stacked systainers, not exactly a good option. The handle is great, I would recommend buying it without reservation. One of those Festool acc that is well worth the money. On a bonus note, I use a typical 4' stepladder for regular installs, the ladder sits nicely on top of the handle. Width of handle and width of 2nd rung on ladder match up nicely.

Same here.

I have both the handle and boom arm. In the shop, the boom arm is great! for installs it comes off quick. the handle is great for pushing the vac and 8 sastainers thru an office bldg. all power tools in, in one shot.
Holzhacker, nice idea on hanging the stepladder on the handle, one less thing to carry.

I have a CT33 with the handle and boom and a CT22 without either.  I really like the 33 in the shop with the boom.  The reason I bought the 22 was to have a vac to take to remote locations.  I actually bought a Fein vac to use for remote sites, but after having a Festool vac I could not settle for anything less so I returned the Fein and bought the 22.  I like not having a handle on the 22 because I have a roll back locking cover on my truck and I can lock the vac up in the bed of the truck.  I also like being able to keep the 22 underneath one of my MFTs in the shop to save floor space.  It's also nice to have two vacs in the shop for when my daughter comes over to work and we have both going at once.
