I was looking at the plunge bases on the vecturo and the festool router and started thinking, why don't they make a plunge base for the Festool Drills.
A fixed base would give you a dead-on accurate 90 degree hole to the surface being drilled. An adjustable base could be tilted to give accurate angled drill holes. A plunge feature would give you accurate depth of the hole being drilled. You could also figure out a alignment jig similar in principle to the domino that would give you evenly spaced drilled holes. Maybe even an attachment for the festool track for drilling a series of aligned holes.
