Is there anything up with Festool UK?

I can't call during the day so emailed last Sunday/Monday about a tool repair and have heard nothing. Emailed again yesterday and just received an automated reply?

Are they on their holibobs? :)

Just a quick update... I was informed that Festool UK experienced some IT issues that affected their phone and email systems this past week. Apologies for the trouble contacting them.

We'll it s coming up to the end of two weeks and still no contact from Festool UK despite Shane's help. Even attended the roadshow this week - 200 mile round trip and couldn't help :(
 
+1 for Festool UK's Service Dept being AWOL in the last couple of weeks. And I don't accept it's an IT problem - I've had emails from them but they just aren't on the ball.

Hi Shane. No apology required on your part. You aren't Festool UK :)
I do have to say that I'm seriously disappointed. I've spent thousands this year on Festool tools and I can't even get them to contact me about a repair...
 
+1. I've sent in a repair form and warranty details and no response. I haven't waited as long as you yet and your post suggests I'll be waiting for ages yet.  Like you richy3333 I spent a day going to the roadshow to check there was a problem with my new OF1010. I've spent a lot too but I won't be spending anymore if they can't provide a decent after sales service.

I do have an email for someone in their end user team so I'm going to try that. I'll let you know if I get anywhere.

The router has now been collected and on it's way back to Festool UK.
