FOG lagging very much last 3 days

I just got back home and I'm running some diagnostics. Just to let everyone know, the server is on a 100MB/s connection, so plenty of bandwidth. I just ran a speed test and it doing 65MB/s down and 50MB/s up.

But is it slow for you?

Peter

Yes, Peter, it's loading a page in about 5-10 seconds right now for me. But, the issue can be at any leg of the connection along the way (or hop) from router to router. That's what I'm running diagnostics on now to see if there is a bottleneck somewhere, and if so, where.

And as soon as I just posted, it's loading fast again. So, I didn't collect much during the actual slow down. [sad]

Post if it comes back again. I have to be able to capture while it's happening.

It is really bad for me - are you still using that North Korean hosting company?

Peter

The host is 1and1.com, same as the Festool USA website, but the forum is on a different server. Festool USA website has not shown signs of slowness. The FOG server appears to be in Kansas and the Festool USA web server in Pennsylvania.

My connection has been fine most of the day, but I just experienced some slowness. While it was acting up I had a network utility window open but I didn't really see a problem. Traceroute shows 11 hops and pretty consistently 65-75ms to Lenexa.

Been slow on and off for several days for me.

Quite slow right now at the time of this post...

I tend to cycle through Sawmill Creek, Woodnet, and Festool Owners Group in that order.  (Big fan of delayed gratification!)

FOG is noticeable slower to load.  A lot slower.

Just curious if there are any forum members who have NOT experienced slowness over the past 3-4 hours today?

Willy, I asked because there have been times where reports of slow downs have happened when it was fine on my end.

PS - Minnie said howdy.  [smile]

Well, that just made my week!!!  Sorry, Shane, you lose to Minnie...

[big grin]
