Introduction and question

Hello all, new here, been Festool mad for long time now but have a question, I’ve picked up an OFK700 eq plus trimmer, car with the 0 degree case as well still unwrapped, it’s brand new in the sense it’s never been used just sat in the wrapper in the systainer…..problem is it’s in an older systainer, is it possible to buy just the newer systainer and insert for the OFK?

I have switched over all of my old "Classic" systainers to T3 or Sys3 and reused the existing inserts with minor modification. You can buy Festool livery Systainers or buy them in various colors as the Tanos version if you prefer the variety. As there have been slight height sizing changes, be sure to replace your Classic systainer with one that is at least the same height or whatever the next step up from there is.

The removable molded inserts are available from Festool service. Most of the inserts can be modified to fit whatever Systainer you decide to use. Each version of the Systainer used its own unique insert but a scissors, scalpel, wire cutter...they all work wonders.
