Can anyone confirm that the blades for the Kapex KS 60 and the Symmetric SYM 70 are interchangeable?  They seem to be listed separately on the Festool website, but have the same diameters, cutting widths, hole diameters and chip angles.
I've got several SYM 70 blades and am about to get a KS 60 to keep the KS 120 company.
Thanks in advance.

Perhaps someone from your side of the pond can help more, but Festool does work to develop and match blades for their tools.  Beyond what the angles and other specs show there may be differences in the gullet size and depth, tooth spacing, and even the laser cut slot design.

In other words, even if they will fit, they might not make you happy on the different saw.

Yes, you can use the blades from the SYM70 on your Kapex KS60 without any problems.

There is an abundance of different and recommended blades for the KS60 (with different tooth count and a few different sizes) but only a handful "recommended" or listed for the SYM70.  I think (from memory, as I have the SYM70 and used to have the KS60) that the SYM70 blades are a bit more expensive. Not a problem for you since you already own the blades. ;)

The standard blade for the KS60 I think is 36 teeth for general use.

I don't see any reason for not using KS60 blades of same size on the SYM70. I bought some Bosch premium blades for aluminium and one other fine tooth blade to the SYM70 and they work great too.

I find the SYM70 works best with fine tooth blades but it isn't too picky if push comes to shove.
