They look like a solid plastic wheel with a very thin rubber tyre/tread bonded to it. So they won't be especially refined when wheeling, but I don't see it as a big deal as most people will only be using it for relatively short distances at the beginning and end of each day.
All that said, it's £99 as opposed to £89 to the Festool Sys-roll, so I don't see what you're saving buying the Makita trolley as opposed to the Festool if you are intending on using it to transport Systainers.
