All three appear to be the sets with the various chucks.  There isn't any description of what style of systainer they come in.

McFeelys was recently acquired by another company.  I would assume that any webpage issues are due to migration / integration.

I just ordered the T18 +3  no. 564397

Thank you, guys!

Did you confirm what the AmpHour rating is on the drill?  The T-18+3 that I just purchased with the 4.2 rating has a part number 564524.  But for a savings of $350 maybe it doesn't make a difference.

I guess it doesn't make a difference for me since I just over my 30 days so I better enjoy that extra battery rating [unsure]

It said there were 2 in stock when I tried to order earlier so they seem to have a delay on adjusting the orders.

Jack, I just checked confirmation email ...it is no. 564397
The ad didn't list the amperes on the battery. I assumed it was standard. Was I wrong to do this?

Jack,
After having been in the music business for most of my life, I just won't believe it until the drill is spinning in my hand!

Its only good if they send out the products. I have been caught a few times with offers like these where they sell thousands of them yet only have 20 in stock and then they take months to credit you back. I won't hold my breath that's for sure.

Well good luck and if McFeely's has been bought out I hope the new company doesn't screw things up since they do have a nice selection of products.

I thought that there was only one model of the T18. Does anyone know the difference between the two, if there are any? Would an earlier version be able to be powered by the newer 4.2 amp battery? Thanks.

I believe this was asked a couple of weeks ago and the answer was yes.

I just ordered the T18 and I received a confirmation email. I do not know why I ordered it because I bought one last year before the price increase and have not used it  [doh]  According to the part number it is the set version with 3.0 batteries.

Thanks, Brice.
I somehow missed that thread.  In order to upgrade from this original offering no. 564397, the 4.2 battery costs $115 and the charger costs $155.  Since I would only be using it for minimal drilling ( the CSX is most often used) ,the smaller batteries should be fine.

Okay I maxed out the cart by putting a quantity of 10 in and they told me how many were left. At this time there are 2 t18s and 4 c12s.

It's still showing the same quantities, I suspect these were the numbers that they started with and each order doesn't "update" the available stock.  I'm sure they have orders for more than two T18s and 4 C12 in the last couple of hours.....

Jacko9, since McFeely's seems to consider themselves a screw retailer I would HOPE the new owner screws things up  [tongue]

LOL - Or don't screw things up [wink]

I wonder if McFeely's is going out of the Festool business with a 50% discount?

I was just able to order the 564397 as well...and it also told me they had 2.  I imagine many of us will have our orders canceled.
