I just ordered a T18, got a confirmation e-mail.  And a confirmation that my CC was charged.  Guess we'll see what happens!

Yep looks like they playing that same game the other company's done before. Seeings the amounts don't change even after others order it looks like they selling products they don't have. Got a bad feeling this is gonna go the same way these other transactions went in the past.

Its an easy way to get a lot of publicity for your site.

Maybe they've had their website hacked?

Maybe they are demo models?

Maybe they just simply put the wrong prices?

Hey, what's that saying......"If it sounds to good to be true......."

McFeely's just charged my card, also.  If they were sold out, then why would they be charging ours cards?

I will probably call McFeely's and my bank tomorrow just to make sure everything is legit.

IF they don't have inventory control online, and IF their credit card processing is automated, then yes charges would be made for any item(s) ordered regardless of stock on hand / availability once you submit your order.

McFeelys is a pretty reputable company, I am sure they will figure this out.

At the very least I don't think it's a pricing mistake or that they got hacked.... I got the promotional email from McFeelys listing those models on clearance at 50% % off just a while ago.... it also listed a couple other items... we'll see if they actually get shipped out next week I guess...

Darn you guys!!!! [unsure]! I bought the 18v!!!!! I hope they can carry through too. Have a great night

Called McFeely's just now and got an answering machine..."Due to a high call volume we are only taking messages now and will try to get back to you as soon as possible."

After my order I tried calling last night. The message said they open at 0900 Eastern. I wanted to verify they have the tools too

[eek]

So I just called McFeelys and talked to Ashley (?). Anyways, she told me the internet orders from last night had not been pushed through so there were two left in her inventory as of 0918.  Being that is what one of the members said earlier last night my Guess is that means a lot of us are going to get refunds  [scared]

I'm sure McFeely's got a lot of press out of this sale but, they probably got a lot of disappointed customers also.

hopefully they'll check in here and see me say that their website really sucks! needs a major overhaul.

I called and couldn't get through I would guess that if they are still on the site for sale at this moment then they still have stock available. I doubt they would be stupid enough to leave them for sale when there's non available.

I don't want to be rude or harsh, but why go through the trouble sending out emails and creating an ad on their website if they only had two T18 drills for sale? This maybe my first and last dealings with this company, depending on how they handle this situation and my money that was deducted from my bank account last night. Lesson learned again... If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is  [embarassed]  I got caught up in the Bridge City Tool Works online sale incident about a year ago and they sent me a free mini mitre square, along with anyone else who participated in that sale. I'm not saying that we should receive anything for free for trying to buy a drill at an unbelievable price, I'm just mentioning how BCTW went above and beyond and I still purchase from them today.

The only company i still shop with that has pulled a scam like this in the past and they still backed up what they were selling was home depot. I bought the WS3000 for less than half price and was one of the first to order yet they sent out a mail saying they had no stock. They got so much hate from it that they ended up sending the units out anyway.

The other company's never sent me the products and a couple of them took months to return the money. I no longer deal with them. Lets hope Mcfeely's aint on the no shop list for good.

Like you say if you only have a couple of each in stock then make sure the online system is setup to only allow whats available to be sold or dont run a advert for them and send them to thousands of people.
