Me too. Left hand side. How weird...
This is bordering on the paranormal , as well as damage to the bottom left corner of my tloc the left hand hinge pin also fell out when I took it out of the box.
Dave

Wrong side of plastic ? Can you post a quick photo maybe we can help. Don't sound good but they will swap it I'm sure.Vwgolfr32 said:Got mine today but can't open systainer as lid is wrong side of plastic on lower half and if I force it lid will come off, definately been dropped. Should I try and open it to check drill is ok or contact festool first as I don't know if they would send me a whole unit or just the systainer
+1 you should be able to push the back in carefully and get them the right way round then it will open fineFestoolfootstool said:Yes this is quite common the systainer is racked the lid is jamed on the inside od the base..
Vwgolfr32 said:But it's cut into the plastic on the lower part, I did think about just trimming it with a Stanley knife, I know I'll probably end up with a small gap there but it's just the principle of it, I know we got a good deal but I like to keep my tools and cases in good order, I recently cut my dewalt 1st fix gun box with my circular and nearly cried, if it had of been a systainer I would have been suicidal
