Misaligned stops on TS60

Hi all, longtime listener, first-time caller. :-P

I've been having a really annoying issue with my TS60 and the bevel stops. I wanted to know if others might have advice. Some context on my usage, and the problem itself, described below.

USAGE
I'm a hobbyist woodworker, so this saw does not get a ton of use, let alone abuse. My objective in buying this saw was to use it as a replacement for a table saw, given its small footprint and versatility, because I don't really have a dedicated shop space. I want to be able to use it to cut precisely, especially for miters. I'm not looking for perfection, and I'm happy to touch up cuts with hand tools or a router with a chamfer bit if necessary––but I'm making a lot of picture frames, boxes, and some pieces for the house that will feature mitered edges, and I've had to do, or redo, absolutely everything on a shooting board to get anywhere close to accurate.

PROBLEM
Basically, the angle stops have had a real issue with misalignment since I got the saw, especially for bevels. The issue was so extreme that I finally sent the saw back for calibration––Festool told me that the 45º stop can only be adjusted by sending it in.

I just got the saw back, and it's still problematically misaligned. The 90º is slightly out of square (but obviously that's easier to fix), but the saw's also still going noticeably further than 45º: I cut a series of miter joints yesterday, resetting the bevel each time; the resulting joint was always at an acute angle; I could get a joint to square up by pulling the angle back a bit toward ~44º, but for a saw at this price, and immediately out of the box, post-calibration, I'm pretty disappointed.

Is something loose?

Detailed pictures may help?

This is a bit of an older post, but I wanted to bump it because I'm seeing similar issues. The zero stop on my TS60 is more like at -1 degree and there's a huge gap at the top of any full-depth cut.

I've contacted Festool and will see what they say, but for $800 I gotta say I'm pretty disappointed. Life came at me fast for a bit so my saw's out of the return window, but this problem is one I'd ordinarily return for; I'm relatively new to Festool (aside from my Domino, which I've had for a couple years) and I'd expect the saw to come out of the box in pristine condition.

Yup, I read the TS55 thread, I knew to start there. Regardless of which knob I tighten first, the saw is firmly sitting at one degree off the factory stop to zero out anyway.

Still dealing with this. It's been eight days since I sent an email to Festool. I have the saw working and aligned, but I guess I'm not doing bevels on my $900 saw until I find out what's up.

If I were in your situation I would try and call Festool instead of waiting for a reply to your email.  After this length of time that email is either missing in action or low in the queue.  It happens.  Of course with the holiday falling on a Thursday and this also being prime vacation time it might be more difficult to get someone on the phone this Friday, so Monday might be a better time to call.

Good to know, thanks. I'm generally an email-operated person; I sent a follow-up yesterday and will call Monday if I don't hear back. 🫡
