Doing a mini restoration on a Powermatic oscillating edge sander with these curious fasteners. Never seen anything like it, so was wondering if anyone knows where I can find a key?[attachimg=1]

Use your hands? Looks like plastic thumb screw / finger knob to me.

i was thinking the samething as svar but with the amount of rust on the bar next to it it may no longer be a thumb srcrew but a pliers screw.

Looks like a spline drive.

You might grab it with hook or axis wrench, but it's plastic, looks fragile.

You're looking for a spline socket. Measure the diameter of the fastener, order proper size socket.

I love high quality tools and I own quite a few including a decent amount of Snap-on. Having said that a 3/8” socket for $76.25 ... wow! If you can’t figure out what size it is the 9 piece set is only something like $675... only!
