New Festool Products 2026

Here's some further information on the new dust collection bag which I think is a particularly brilliant release. Unlike my HKC 55, TSC 55 K and MT 55 saws, this bag can remain attached to the saw when it's placed back into the Systainer...it simply folds out of the way. It's also easier to empty the contents as it simply pivots upwards to open up and dump the saw dust into a refuse container. No zippers to open and no dust bags to remove...sweet.
Will it fit older saws?

Depending on if and how they changed the clamshell that enshrouds the blade, I'm thinking that the way to modify a TS55 (R and F, maybe similar) with the bag will be to source the hose nozzle for the bag and then it might all come together. It's how I hear some people use the TS60 nozzle on the TS55, but I haven't tried that yet.

Very sweet... (y) I am all onboard to purchase the new TSC 55 KS EB as the lightened battery load will do wonders for the handling of the saw.

Recently, I've been cutting a lot of foam board insulation in both 1-1/2" and 2" thicknesses with my TSC 55 K, and in my head there's always been a disconnect as to why it takes a saw so heavy to cut a material that's so light in weight. The TSC 55 K is a great saw but it is heavy and awkward at times. The HKC 55 is simply terrific for framing tasks because of its mobility and light weight while the MT 55 is really the best of the best.
Hot knife.

The app exists to collect personal and usage data from you. No thanks Festool.
It can be a useful app for fleet management. It tracks the locations of tools that are connected via bluetooth. It works for larger teams where businesses can add employees to the company account. You can restrict the data it collects in the iOS settings and additionally in the app. It’s very simple to deactivate location tracking and third party tracking in iOS if you’re not interested in this. These App Store summaries do show all potential tracking options if one would agree to every single request.

I deactivated tracking by third parties, limited location data to when the app is used, and just granted "power tool usage data". I rarely use it, mainly to update the software of some tools and batteries, which can not be done in the MyFestool web account, I believe.

The app is linked to your MyFestool-Account and allows to create repair orders for all tools linked to your account, so it’s obviously linked to one’s personal information that one has used to register the products.
