New Festool Products 2026

Oh I see Festool hinting at lighting for the OF1400. I wonder if it will be a module or a gen 2 router with it built in. I'd like to see it brought to the OF2200 too.
If you don't want to wait, you can adapt an OF2200 with this:

I bought one and it does connect up very easily, and lights where you need it; though I haven't used the router all that much recently.

The pictures show it integrated in with the dust extraction piece - so the slip in dust extractor now just has a built in light

Yup if it comes stateside I will probably pick one up as my current adapter is partially broken. I haven't bothered to replace it as it still works to collect dust but the piece that rotates broke. A light would get me to pull the trigger on a new one.

Anyone have any intel on when the new tabless TBX batteries are expected to land in the US? Plan to make some further tool purchases but would probably go "basic" and pick up the new batteries at the same time.

Thanks. I'm seeing an April date for TBX in the UK -- a link posted on that thread. Not so long to wait to see if its the same release date in the US. I feel like I'm seeing products inn the UK that we either don't get here, or sometimes -- just that we're behind in the rollout.

He goes through all the new tools.

Dunno who is Woodchuck. Nor which trade show he is at.

He did a good job at giving a quick overview of the new items.

The knee pad + systainer should be popular with the tradespeople.

If the boom arm was cheaper, it would be immensely popular.

I watched with subtitles at 2x speed on mute.
