i have lots of  various snappy bits, how can i use them in a festool impact drill with the impact on. Are there any adapters out there to buy to fit them in.

Hi,

Do you mean impact driver as in the discontinued TI 15 model? Or are we talking about a percussion drill like the PDC?

If it's the latter and your snappy bits are rated for use in a percussion drill, you could simply put them in the jacobs chuck.

I would not recommend to have a regular 1/4" hex bit holder (centrotec or not) serve as an adapter for the use of hex shaft drill bits with a percussion drill.

(Same goes for impact drivers, there are bit holders and bits out there rated for impact use - those should be preferred)

Kind regards,
Oliver

Hi,

  Welcome to the forum!

I am not sure if you mean the Ti15 or maybe the PDC18?  Not sure if it will work for your needs but Snappy makes a pretty decent adapter that allows non-Centrotec bits to be used in a Centrotec chuck.

If you have a lot of 1/4" ball detent bits (that's what Snappy bits are), try the Snappy Centrotec to ball detent adaptor.  I love mine.
