I was searching for info on the routing aid and came across this post: TS-06 Review so I thought I'd bring it up to date and add a little history:

I was down at Highland Saturday-before-last because they were having the Lie-Nielsen Hand Tool Event-thingie and I wanted to pick up a couple of their calendars. I knew it would be a cluster-(you-know-what) but I braved the drive through Midtown on a Saturday afternoon regardless. I even managed to find a parking spot at the 14th St. Starbucks to get a Clover but that's a story in itself...

Anyway, I got there alive, managed to find enough of a  parking place that I could open my door(thanks NC WXM-4146, down here we put our cars INSIDE the white lines and I'm pretty much sure y'all do the same up in NC) and went in. As I expected, a Chinese Fire Drill.....

I finally managed to get close enough to a L-N rep to ask if they had any calendars and was told they did but they didn't unpack any of their retail crates since they  were at one of their authorized dealers. Well, just poop!  >:(

But there was another reason I made the trip: I knew Dan Durant,my favorite(and only) Festool rep would be in attendance and I really wanted a Domino show-and-tell and maybe some hands-on time. Sadly, they wouldn't let Dan plug anything in(hand-tool day and all that) so demos and hands-on were a lost cause but I got some good info and a chance to handle the Domino Unplugged....

Dan and I have a thing: I give him a hard time and he gives me a T-shirt:

It just says Festool with one of those funny-looking squares you're starting to see all over, a larger version on the back:

Orange kitteh gives it the Seal of Approval:

All in all, I really can't add much to the original review as far as packaging, impact resistance and all that is concerned but it's a nice addition to my Festool collection and I really want to say thanks to Dan for putting up with a pest like me, hope to see you again soon!

Best to y'all!

Bill, here's a hint...

Dan's a great guy and I'll be hanging with him next week.

PS - I bet you could sell it to Seth for $100. It's a limited edition Festool collector's item.

Don't assume that Orange kitteh was giving it a seal of approval.

This was simply a Cat Scan.
