Would it be better to use the Leveling Plate Mounted casters or the Stem Mounted Casters? I want to purchase these leveling casters for a project and noticed everyone here has experience. Here are the two options I am deciding on. Just trying to figure out the best way to attach these. They might be over kill but I'd rather be safe than sorry. Thanks!

Sure you don’t work for Caster HQ?

When  I posted the above it was from the suspicion that BuCuTao might just be promoting Caster HQ. Now I am going to promote them.  [blink]

Six months ago I bought a set of the heavy capacity (600# each) self leveling stem casters (he linked above) from Caster HQ via Amazon. I bought in anticipation of a project that was delayed so just this week I got around to installing the casters and discovered that one was defective.

I contacted the vender through Amazon and they promptly sent a replacement and said to keep the bad one. After six months.  [big grin]

So now I’m a happy promoter/customer of Caster HQ, a family owned business in Arlington, Texas.
