I'm building some outdoor storage cabinets and I'd like to use a stainless piano hinge for the doors. I'd appreciate some advice on sizing. In the US common sizes (open widths) appear to be 1 1/2" and 2". The doors are (roughly) 38" and 79" tall. The cabinets are built from 3/4" nominal ACX plywood, the doors will be edge banded and inset.
What would be the appropriate size of hinge to use?
