Well done Scott this post slipped right past me that job sounds amazing and you is stunning I am loving the photo of the wine rack this job is going to be amazing
Thanks Robert.
The job is a cracker even had me in the workshop all weekend which I never ever do.
Need to finish by Mon 7th as we have two large sash & case windows to do.
Hope married life is suiting you and the workload diary is full.
Thanks again.
Scott

That a tight deadline but it looks like your on target. Ye married life is pretty much the same as before ha ha the diary is mental at the moment which is great

Project now 95% complete with only top fascia and mouldings to do and small finishing items etc.
Clients electrician awaited to install drops for lights and power up wine master before we can finish completely.
Domino, track saw and Kapex were superb on this project. So was my Metabo HC260c planer / thicknesser, only changed blades at the start and 400m of oak later they were still cutting great.
We needed all of the 200m of oak boards. The surplus was minimum with less than 5m of board rejected after my initial selection.
At a quick count we reckoned that there is over 900 dominos fitted so that's at least 1800 mortices cut on same 6mm cutter. (Which wasn't new at the start)!
Client is home on the 10th and I'm sure he will love it.

Great looking work. Are you going to apply the finish or will a painter do it and what will it be?

Really, really neat - very nice work! Thank you for sharing!

Kind regards,
Oliver

Thanks for the compliment. Client has decided on no finish so we have sanded to 120 grit at moment. He is home Thursday so awaiting final decision but likely sand to 150 grit at least. It looks great without finish and guaranteed not to spoil the wine! [big grin]

Terrific. That is a great job to put in portfolio, great job. Awesome work.
