I completed a screened in porch and the client asked if I could custom make the screen door as well. The challenge was they wanted a cat door in it as well so a full length door screen door was not an option. The home owner and I both found from research that custom screen doors with pet doors are virtually not available.
I used western red cedar and constructed with Festool Domino and Exterior Glue - it was surprisingly strong! It is the same thickness as a standard exterior door to accept standard lockset. I used the TS55 to cut the door to the appropriate height and to match slope of patio on the bottom. It has been up over a year and still looks great no sagging or warping.
