Why don't other brands include a centerline on their routers?

I guess that would make sense for the Makita given they have the rail adapter too.

I have the DeWalt rail adapter for the DCW600 to use it with my DeWalt tracksaw rails but no centerlines on the router base.

Well - who would have thought it? This is my little Makita RP1100C quarter-inch which is so old I have no idea how long Ive had it. Never even noticed these marks before  [blink] but I can already think of a hundred times I wish I’d known they were there ………
