Alan 1, my mate has my chisels still  [crying] he is back in the UK just need to find time to meet up with him! SOON! As hes not staying long going back to Australia for another year working!  

Very annoying! My chisels are so close but yet so far lol!  I think im going to see him on Friday night so ill be able to see my new chisels in the flesh yay!!

Alan 2,  YES I ordered my Domino yesterday morning and I came home to day to see a LARGE package!  DOMINO XL!  [big grin] [big grin] with T-loc full  with size 12 -14mm dominos

Its heavier than I thought!  IT takes some swinging to lift it up with one hand lol!

I don't think the Narex chisels are the same company as the Narex power tools.  i.e not owned by TTS.  I could be wrong though, interested to find out.

The side bevels appear to go almost the entire thickness of the chisel.  Is that the case or just the picture angle?

its close u got about 2-3 mm left.      

Not really tried them out yet! I had a play with the 1 1/2  Hope they hold their edge!    The 11/2 one already has a very small chip on its edge but not sure if it was me or it came like that.  They came sharpened so I just hope thats how it was sharpened.    

So ill give them a spin for couple weeks and give some feedback!    I got a job if I want it the client said  to make a oak truss and do the roof.    So ill take the job on to give the chisels a good test run! and my chain mortiser!

Earlier in this thread Narex chisels were mentioned.  I had Christian check for me and there are 4 companies using the Narex name.  Only the Narex that produces electric power tools is owned by TTS.

Yes very nice. Which made it even more annoying when I dropped one onto the concrete floor and then another one rolled of a systainer onto a tile floor!  [crying] [crying]

I know I know I haven't done a video or uploaded any pictures for a while.

Trying to get jobs done just not enough time!  And don't know why but me and my mate just last night been discussing and designing a orangey  might be building one of them soon.  I don't know where im going to find the time though! Need more hours.

Yeah the chisels did chip they landed dead on the edge when they hit th ground really annoying.

Not being hammering the chisels much so can't comment on how long they hold the edge yet.

One thing though they ate designed to be hammered with a normal hammer like a estwing but it's horrible!  Like wooden or plastic handle chisels when u hit them with a regular hammer it sounds okay. But you hit these H&S chisels it sounds horrible hitting metal with metal don't like it so I end up using a mallet anyway or something like that.
