Peter Halle said:This may be a weird suggestion, but please bare with me. The metal is not porous or anything special, it it your climate and the leather that is absorbing moisture and then it is condensing on the metal. Your chisels are more valuable than the leather. Try saturating just one of your chisel slots with the camellia oil. Then see if that one reacts differently than the others. If the leather is saturated with oil it will not be able to absorb the moisture.
