I like this Roof rack because of a few things!

1. its British! Support UK! lol

2. Its low profile! Everything can easily be attached or removed so it does not restrict me where I can go in my van ie. car parks with height restrictions. Well I hope it wont lol

3. Its kinda like Festool it has a few accessories to make it a complete system and you can make it to suite you.

4. Its light and aerodynamic with the new Delta bars so you cnt hear anything when driving fast.  My mate has a roof rack and when he gets up to 50 it starts to whistle then any faster and you can just hear a loud noise kinda crap. He got a wind deflector which helped a lot but still aint silent. The Rhino Delta bars are mint they are Solid and strong.

5. Easy to install but all upgradable with longer bars like  I did! Also if you was to get a new Van you would only have to buy the mounting brackets and if your lucky your current mounting brackets might fit but at least you dont have to buy the entire kit again saving you money.  If the bars are to long for your new van as your new van is not a wide you can easily just cut the bars shorter if needed.

6. The quick safety clamps are a nice accessory from Rhino I dont see why you can not just use them on any type of roof rack.  They hold really solid as you pull the leaver down it tightens down really clamping your ladders (or wood) down then for extra security you can lock them.  I tried them out on my 3 Run ladder 3.9 meters retracted and it held them solid i did a few quick turns round my area to see if they had slide side ways a bit but no movement at all they really clamp them down.

I have not found anything I dont like about them YET!

alway known them as bridge saws, Used 1 on a night club with a 700mm blade and 3mx2m table to cut the granite on site.

suprised you didnt go for rubi

http://www.protilertools.co.uk/rubi-wet-saws/26782/rubi-du-200-bl-l-bridge-wet-saw-110v-25989

Well cost! lol  Mine only cost me £140.  I wont be using it a lot as I dont do a lot of tiling. I did look at the Rubi and was tempted cus I went on a few Tile Forums and alot recommended Rubi.

Just the Rubi is £240 + you have to buy a stand so prop cost like £300 I could buy two of mine with that lol

I almost bought 1 for just £80 quid lol cus I would of been able to had it that day and use it cus my old crappy tile cutter broke on me that day you see.

I then thought £80 is just to cheap and decided to spend more found Rubi and I just kept on going up and up I looked at ones costing £600 -£800 but I thought to my self Im being silly so I quickly called Rex Crystals and asked him if he could get me the one for £140 before I convinced my self I need something better.

£340 about.

Thats for the:

3 Delta Pars brackets and straps
2 board stops at the front
3 pairs of adjustable Stops
1 1000mm roller bar for the rear
1 pair of ladder safety clamps
2 5 metre straps

Think I covered it all.
Their is a ladder accessory you can get its about £800 lol It slides down and pivots and helps you get your ladder up quickly and securely BUT for me it would get in the way if I wanted to carry 8x4 sheets so decided on the cheaper option and get the Ladder safety clamps

I've recently replaced my 10 year old Mac with an iMac. Many of my friends beat me up for being an Apple fanboy - but they are also the type of people who want to use Ryobi instead of Festool.  I have a similar view of my Festool s to my Mac.
Enjoy !
Richard

LOL.

I'm getting off on Macs too.

Well like I said I would add some pictures of the tile cutter and where I used it!

Its a cheap tile cutter!  So almost straight away I found a couple of things I didnt like!  1 I noticed the water hose kinked when you pullled the saw forward its not a problem once water is inside the hose but at the start it was not allowing water to pass but now I have no problems with it.  2 As you can see the rubber mat is gone on one side! Well after couple days it bubbled up and it was annoying me so I just pulled it off completely.  Saying this I like it it does the job well and I cant complain for the price I payed.

This is my Bathroom on my own house I work on it when I have the time which normally is weekends

OH!  I still need do a bit of cleaning around and then do all the siliconing.  I have not grouted the floor yet! Not decided if I gone use Ivory like the walls or grey!  Either way im going to wait till the house is done cus I walk around with dirty trainers lol.

ALSO picked ivory grout cus thought it was a creamy grout because I HATE white grout!  But dont know about you but if you look at the pictures the grout looks white to me!  So im not to happy really with the grout! I have thought about removing all the grout and get a creamier looking grout! OR get a grout colorant which I can put on. Does any one know a good grout colorant which they used? I have looked around but I can only find a water based in the UK  across the bond you have alot more brands and you have a oil based which to me seems better than a water based dy.

Bathroom looks nice man.  I like the grout, wouldnt change it.  Whats with the mirror in the wall, are you gona lie in the bath & look at yourself  [tongue]  or is it a  tv screen.  I wish i put one in my bathroom, might do it yet (tv that is  ;D ).

There has been a lot of controversy about using grout colorants and their effectiveness.   I've done a few color jobs and I stay away from coloring shower surrounds and especially shower floors.  Any other application has very good results for both installer and customer.     Personally, I have used ThisOldGrout, Aquamix, and NuGrout with great success. However, product choice, application and availability will ultimately be up to you.  Here is the best place to find info on just about anything tile and you'll find a lot of real life info and experience on grout colorants.
