New Festool Products 2026

I hope that comes in some sort of case, otherwise someone like me would lose parts or worse - break parts. As already mentioned, not everybody would have a regular need for it.

If you purchase the Accessories Set, then it comes in a Systainer.

Thanks. I won't be buying because for the few times left that I might use it, I know how to figure out the locations of the start and stop. Usually when I would be doing something like that, plunging full depth of the saw is an option and the lines on the base work for me.

New video about the FS EP rail attachments

What is the application scenario for this accessory?

The material is 40mm thick. Then she set the cut depth to 40mm. And then proceeded to make a mid-panel plunge cut. Did it cut all the way through? Did I miss something?

What happened to using the Limit Stop at the bellybutton side of the saw to prevent kickback on the initial plunge?

Obviously I am confused‼️

There is also a new light for the ETS, RTS and DTS sanders called LM-DTS.
It's USB-C rechargeable in 80 minutes and will work for 2½ hours.

Was trying to find the source for that and came across the new module for the OF1400 as well.

Also shows new kits of both the sanders and the OF1400 with the light modules included (new products overview)

EDIT: And the new PowerHub as well :)

The descriptions are confusing, but it seems like the LM-DTS will only fit DTS sanders, There's also the LM-RTS for RTS sanders and I assume there will be an LM-ETS, but I can't find that one yet.
This is the LM-RTS

That 40 setting is a calibration. You can set the depth of cut on those attachments with sliders, which will compensate for different depths. Very nifty, because until now only cutting at full depth works with the marks on the saw.

Anyone else notice that Festools websites are a bit behind? One shop here did a mailing with lots of new products you could preorder, and most of them were not on Festools sites…
IMO that is actually how it should be. Give the shops some time to adjust /and announce to customers/ only later pull out the news on the web. I like it.

I works well to fuel the leaks/excitement as well. After all, FT is not Apple with their centralised sales chain .. though, IMO, they SHOULD look into that in Europe where global/fixed pricing is impossible. Now that 99% of their "old times" dealers are either dead or have moved on, there is no real risk of "taking business" away from their non-existent dealer network.

They started by allowing online sales - at absurdly high prices no one sells at in Europe - but what actually makes sense is the retail presence someone can actually take some time to travel to and know that the full shebang could be found to be on display there. Kinda like a "static" trade fair where the main job is not to sell per se but to show off what ya got.
