New Festool Products 2026

I hope that comes in some sort of case, otherwise someone like me would lose parts or worse - break parts. As already mentioned, not everybody would have a regular need for it.

Peter
If you purchase the Accessories Set, then it comes in a Systainer.

Thanks. I won't be buying because for the few times left that I might use it, I know how to figure out the locations of the start and stop. Usually when I would be doing something like that, plunging full depth of the saw is an option and the lines on the base work for me.

New video about the FS EP rail attachments

What is the application scenario for this accessory?

The material is 40mm thick. Then she set the cut depth to 40mm. And then proceeded to make a mid-panel plunge cut. Did it cut all the way through? Did I miss something?

What happened to using the Limit Stop at the bellybutton side of the saw to prevent kickback on the initial plunge?

Obviously I am confused‼️

There is also a new light for the ETS, RTS and DTS sanders called LM-DTS and LM-RTS.
It's USB-C rechargeable in 80 minutes and will work for 2½ hours.

Was trying to find the source for that and came across the new module for the OF1400 as well.

Also shows new kits of both the sanders and the OF1400 with the light modules included (new products overview)

EDIT: And the new PowerHub as well :)

The descriptions are confusing, but it seems like the LM-DTS will only fit DTS sanders, There's also the LM-RTS for RTS sanders and I assume there will be an LM-ETS, but I can't find that one yet.
This is the LM-RTS

That 40 setting is a calibration. You can set the depth of cut on those attachments with sliders, which will compensate for different depths. Very nifty, because until now only cutting at full depth works with the marks on the saw.

Anyone else notice that Festools websites are a bit behind? One shop here did a mailing with lots of new products you could preorder, and most of them were not on Festools sites…
IMO that is actually how it should be. Give the shops some time to adjust /and announce to customers/ only later pull out the news on the web. I like it.

I works well to fuel the leaks/excitement as well. After all, FT is not Apple with their centralised sales chain .. though, IMO, they SHOULD look into that in Europe where global/fixed pricing is impossible. Now that 99% of their "old times" dealers are either dead or have moved on, there is no real risk of "taking business" away from their non-existent dealer network.

They started by allowing online sales - at absurdly high prices no one sells at in Europe - but what actually makes sense is the retail presence someone can actually take some time to travel to and know that the full shebang could be found to be on display there. Kinda like a "static" trade fair where the main job is not to sell per se but to show off what ya got.

Here's some further information on the new dust collection bag which I think is a particularly brilliant release. Unlike my HKC 55, TSC 55 K and MT 55 saws, this bag can remain attached to the saw when it's placed back into the Systainer...it simply folds out of the way. It's also easier to empty the contents as it simply pivots upwards to open up and dump the saw dust into a refuse container. No zippers to open and no dust bags to remove...sweet.
Completely pointless upgrade, they must be bored in r&d! As is the light.
I would think anyone who uses the tsc 55 on a daily basis hardly ever takes the whole saw to the bin to empty the bag. The current system imo works perfectly, I don’t want to have to tip the saw up on end to empty the bag…
The light….the saw sits on a track, once the track is placed what use is the light?
Don’t get me wrong the smaller form factor and less weight is welcome but the other stuff is superfluous.

I probably won't buy one as I normally use an extractor. But from the couple of times I've had to empty out the dustbag on my HKC 55 on a windy day to be able to package up the tool I'm not sure I agree that it's a pointless upgrade

I'm getting the TSC55K sometime soon and I love the new bag idea. Definitely an improvement to not have to muck around with it unnecessarily!

Please explain? Im really struggling to see how this new bag is an improvement over the old one. You can’t pack the bag away with debris in it so the constant bag attached idea just seems unnecessary to me. Take the revision of the reusable bags for the mini/midi, i hate that design which broke within 6 months, the old version lasted 15 years.
I say this as an installer my tsc is literally an extension of my arm, i have had numerous versions from corded to cordless over the last 20 years, even returned the later tsc revisions as i prefer the original.

For the adhoc usage I would need from the saw it absolutely will pack with dust in it unless it's too full perhaps. That's the whole point of it and makes more convenient for me.

Especially when I'm so lax with emptying the dust extractors as it is.

For an installer using it for extended periods yes it would be a problem although no more of a problem than the old bag, but even then it's still a big improvement on the old bag for in-between jobs which offers some convenience that wasn't there previously. Would it be worth buying the bag, I couldn't say, but I'll very much appreciate it being supplied with the saw.

For inside use I always use a vac but for most things outdoors (except foam board) I use the bag. Zipping & unzipping the Festool bag to empty it is annoying...I hate it and when using the MT 55 you suddenly realize how easy it is to attach the Mafell bag with one hand and empty it without a zipper. I look at this as an evolutionary step for Festool as Mafell has had these features for years.

From the Festool website:
The bag can be attached with a single hand movement, captures dust and chips directly at the point of exit, and can be emptied easily and completely via the opening flap without needing a zip. You don’t need to detach it from the saw either for emptying or transport. This allows you to work seamlessly and get started whenever you wish.

  • Easy: Fitted in no time at all.
  • Space-saving: Folds flat and is designed for transport alongside the saw.
  • Effortless: Access flap for swift emptying.

Also, a random note about the old bag…. I cut a lot of “Boral” (fly ash material) last year for a big exterior trim project and the dust from that stuff is super abrasive and somehow immediately jacked up the zipper. I tried cleaning it in every way possible and it still isnt great. I do also use the HKC a ton for a large assortment of random tasks and welcome the new design that doesn’t have to be removed to be dumped and put away. The bag pretty much lives on my HKC.
