Thank you Festool - nice little gift in the mail (offer expired)

You're welcome from your friends at Festool to all who have received hats. Enjoy!

I was had tears of joy flowing down my checks!!! Walked my dog sporting my cool hat

Just curious. Has anyone in Canada received a hat yet? I know that registration of your tools is a prerequisite. My dealer has been registering my tools every time I purchased one and I also registered a second time shortly after Shane had notified everyone of the web page to do so. I hope I get one. Cheers.

Received my hat on return to Florida today! [big grin]

Thanks Shane, and Festool.

My NAINA tools bought while stationed in Germany are being delivered tomorrow after a month long wait! [thumbs up] Excited is an understatement!

Cheers,

Frank

Is it stupid for a woman to buy all her own power tools and learn on her own, instead of depending on her husband? Because I did and I love it.

Looking forward to hearing your learning experiences!

Cheers,

I get the wife thing. My husband has his tool's and I never question what and when he buys. What is wrong with a woman wanting her own tools and know how to use them and many work along side him once in a while. But I stay home mom and he let's me. I take care of house, 3 kids and just started reduing  our deck and making a wooden swing and. Still have time to cook clean and my husband is spoiled. And thinks its awsome what I can do. Don't get me wrong. I let him have his caveman has to fix it way, but I do my own things to.

Thank you, so far I've made a bench working on the swing, and deck all from wood pallets. I love it. Stained sanded and everything. Its just awesome.

But he gets cordless lol and I buy the ones with cords it just get aggravating in the groove of a project and battery dies.

Nope.

My wife and daughter both have their own Mechanics Tool Set (1/4", 3/8", and 1/2" ratchets and sockets) that I gave them for Christmas a couple of years ago. Last year I gave my wife a 1/2" M12 Fuel Drill to replace her old Dewalt one. The bummer is that *I* don't even own a 1/2" M12 Fuel Drill!

She's not into woodworking, and I maintain the vehicles and the house, but she's not afraid to tackle something if 'm too slow to jump on it. And - once in a while when I'm wokring around the house - she'll let me borrow it!

[wink]

BTW - [welcome] to the FOG!

Wayne, going off topic here a little bit, but couldn't help but notice some similarities....  A very famous author from your area (John Sandford) has written around 26 novels based on one lead character and are based in Minneapolis.  In one book, two women tie a guy to the bed and drilled into his knees with, well, a drill...  If I were you, I wouldn't let any of those honey do's wait too long!!!!
