Agree with multiple points.
It's "My" space, but in reality its a "Workshop", and I welcome any of the fam in to build things. They have done this multiple times.
I just have to constantly scold the kids for not wearing shoes when them enter.
It was brought up once about being able to park cars in the garage; a car is probably the most weatherproof thing anyone owns, leave that crap outside. Also, you'll get a new one in a few years, my tools i'll have rest of my life.
My wife also grew up with a grandfather who had a workshop, and was very close with him. My first table saw was actually is 1946 Unisaw. So she has a different appreciation than most people might.
But yeah, maybe look at it as if I lose this space, she can say hello to bachelorettehood. haha
