Very nice. I like the boxed in common depths.  [thumbs up]

I think this is probably my final revision.  One nice thing about replacing the scale is that I can re zero the scale with the track. My saw never is used without the track so zero now INCLUDES the track.

Really love this.  Any chance you'd start a small side-business and sell some???    [big grin]        (including OF1400 scale!)

Count me for a set, if you do!

Thanks !

I might be up for that. I need to figure out my cost and what I would need.

I will work on that.

I am going to check that out as my biggest gripe with Festool is the slow down in production I experience converting to imperial, plus I am never quite sure if I got it right.

I'd be willing to buy one. It would be neat to have a dual inch scale, with one showing actual depth from the base, and the other offset by 5mm to account for the guide rail thickness.

Thanks, Dick

Let me see what I can come up with.

I have labels printed and ready to go.

I setup a PayPal page for anyone interested.

I am still working on a version that will have two scales (on track and off).  It will not be as easy to read as what I currently have. The new REQ should be easy to do both.

I will say its very nice to have a scale that takes into consideration the track thickness. Nice to set it to 3/4" and cut 3/4"

Thanks

Rich

What is the width of the of1400 scale? Wondering if it would fit on the of1010 if cut shorter.

I can measure it but will be happy to make one for a 1010. Just need to get a little info to verify fit.

Thanks Rich,

Just ordered a set.  Great idea and service to FOG members.  At that price it is a complete no-brainer.

Sweet!!!  I'm in for the pair.  Thanks!  Looking forward to putting these into use ASAP.    [big grin]

"An extra benefit is that you can set zero on your saw to include the track. So no more adding 5 mm to your measurements to compensate for the thickness of the track"

[big grin]

Now that's something to consider, good job Rich.

Thanks everyone !

Is there someone with a OF1010 that can help me verify fit. I can send someone a PDF of the rough template and you can print it on your printer and just select actual size when you print it.  You would just need to cut it out and locate it on the 1010.

Couple questions.  First what is the largest number on the scale (max depth) and it appears the 1010 has plastic piece that slides over the scale.  Is there enough clearance for a label?

I would buy one for my TS75, OF1400 and OF1010 in a heartbeat. Not sure id the current TS55 would match my saw. Is that possible?

I am working on 1010 now and TS75 is next. Are you setup where you could print a template for me and test?  Just need a standard PC printer.
