here we go again

How many of you guys have a "wish list" from the wife?  I've been married for over 48 years and keeping the wife happy by showing her that "her home projects" have priority will keep you in good stead!  I develop drawings, show her the wood being processed and let her look over dry fit ups and discuss her suggestions.  The bills come in for new tools and I discuss what I will use the new tools for and we have peace at home.  I should disclose that my wife is my accountant and has set up the business and keeps the books - there is no hiding procurements~!

Life is GREAT!

Day in the big smoke for me next week to

I had to go out for a few bits today and went to d and m tools in Twickenham  if you get a chance pop in there it is well worth a visit.

You guys think buying a sander and justifying it to the wife is tough. My mate just bought a 17K Harley on finance and didn't tell his wife. I think he might be in my spare room soon when she finds out.

I think he might be on a long solo ride soon [eek]

As I own the business I think I get away with justifying / avoiding the conversation regarding tool purchases.

All the new gear arrived yesterday and I was like a kid at Christmas [big grin]

Of2200 I love the column lock and it is a beast couldn't believe how big it is.

Used the of1400 straight after and that seemed so small

OF2200 love it.
Been using it the last couple of days on 45mm s/s tops can't believe how smooth it is.
It is in a different class to my old makita, no vibration and I think the dust extraction helps no end.
I've done quite a few cuts with the freud replaceable blade cutter, I know with the makita I would definitely have been on my 2nd bit by now.
I was a bit unsure whether to buy the set but so glad I did as I've used 3 of the bases already.
The other 1 is the mfs700 jig love that to just wish I didn't have to purchase extra rails to make an aperture for a belfast sink (although I moved it on this occasion).
All in all more than happy the price I think is justified. [thumbs up]

Right bought a lot of other tools but no festool for a while but we are at it again rotex 150 on its way and nearly the Carvex but added it to the cart then took it back out but in hindsight may add it back in tomorrow

[attachimg=1]RO150 turned up this afternoon ready for a couple of days in Birmingham next week on s/s tops :)
Then 20 mins later get a phone call to say tops haven't arrived and now won't be in until next Friday annoying for me as now have to rearrange next week but the contractor on site was supposed to be finished Wednesday so I think the **** is going to fly

Nice bargain, pleased with my ro150 I got from them. I half expected it to be old stock at those prices but mine is a 2014 model :).

The ro90 arrived today my money saved was offset by the fact I realised I would need to buy more abrasives to fit [eek] I may add 2 sys toolbox 2 at the same time :P
